Current NASCAR Sprint Cup Driver and 2012 Knoxville Nationals Rookie of the Year Kyle Larson has entered the 56th Annual 5 Hour Energy Knoxville Nationals. Larson has qualified for the Saturday A-Main both times he has entered the Nationals with his best finish sixth in 2013. Since then, Larson has raced in NASCAR’s top series and won the 2014 Rookie of the Year. He is currently 19th in the Sprint Cup standings going into this weekend race at Loudon, New Hampshire. Larson says since the Sprint Cup has an open week during the Knoxville Nationals, he thought he might as well enter. The 5 Hour Energy Knoxville Nationals are August 10th-13th.
