A 2-inch gas line at the corner of North Grandview and West Gebhardt was fractured by workers from Hawkeye Paving just after 10 a.m. this morning.
The company says that the location of the line was mapped incorrectly. The Knoxville Fire Department, Knoxville Police Department and Alliant Energy crews responded to the scene. KNIA/KRLS News will update with more information as soon as it becomes official.
