The Iowa Department of Transportation has changed signage at the junction of Highways 5 and 92 omitting mention of Knoxville and Lake Red Rock on the new signage.
The new signage, northbound on Hwy 5, and on the south side of Hwy 92, shows Oskaloosa and Indianola as the only two destination options. The previous signage had Knoxville and Lake Red Rock positioned above Indianola and Oskaloosa. KNIA/KRLS News has contacted the DOT for an explanation, and staff are researching why the change was made. We will provide more information as soon as it becomes official.
