The 2016 Central College football season is not too far away, and Coach Jeff McMartin has been hard at work preparing for his players to come back to campus and get to work. While recruiting is obviously a big part of any offseason regimen for college coaches, McMartin also spent some time travelling the country and attending various camps. One in particular he went to took him to the home of Coach K: Duke University. McMartin says he was able to pick up several “management” techniques and also had the chance to pass some leadership tips along to other in attendance. Central will play six road games this season, starting with back-to-back Saturdays against Whitworth in Washington state, and Augustana in Rock Island, Illinois on September 3 and 10, respectively.
