The Pella City Council has a packed agenda for tonight’s meeting.
Three public hearings are scheduled, including a potential zoning ordinance to allow Pella Christian Grade School’s expansion and renovation to continue, a resolution approving the contract for underground electric conversion in the Central College neighborhood, and purchasing water system materials for upgrades next to Vermeer Corporation.
The council will also hold the 3rd reading of an ordinance increasing water rates to finance improvements ongoing at the water treatment plant and a 2nd reading of an ordinance adding design standards to new homes in the city’s gateway corridors. Their meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Pella Public Safety Complex on Liberty Street.
