Two Knoxville softball players earned recognition from the Iowa Girls Coaches Association by getting on the class four-A All-State Team. Carrie Chambers has earned a first team nod. Chambers lead the team in several offensive categories this season batting average at .423, on base percentage at .477, stolen bases with 21, and hits with 41. Chambers also was one of the better fielders with a 959 fielding percentage. She will continue her softball playing days at Simpson College next spring. Ricki Hall made the third team. Hall also had outstanding offensive numbers including leading the team with five home runs, 25 R-B-I, and had an incredible .707 slugging percentage. The Panthers finished the season at 13-17.
