The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum is displaying two new exhibits just in time for Knoxville Nationals.
Four roadsters that raced at the Indianapolis 500 are on display. Each car was driven and built by inductees to the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame. Museum Director Bob Baker says in the 1950’s and 60’s Sprint Car racing was the gateway to racing in the Indy 500. Another new exhibit highlights women in sprint car racing, with suits and vehicles belonging to the ladies who have made an impact on the sport.
