While small in numbers, the Knoxville Girls Cross Country Squad will have some very hard workers. Coach Michael Splavec tells KNIA/KRLS Sports along with Senior Lucy Olson he says the younger runners will do everything they can to help the team have success. Splavec says it may be the same thing as last year when no one runner was able to lead the pack consistently. He adds that may be a good thing where everyone has a chance to have success every time out and his team does not have to rely on one runner to finish up front all the time.
