Iowa’s tax free holiday is today and tomorrow. Purchases made on clothing or footwear items less than $100 at any Iowa retailer open will not be charged local or state sales tax.
Pella Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Karen Eischen encourages shoppers to make tax-free purchases local. She says many retailers are also continuing last weekend’s Ridiculous Day sales as well.
