During many interviews on the Knoxville Hyvee Radio Coaches Corner in the 2015 Pleasantville Cross Country season, Head Coach Aaron Fichter talked about a group of seniors on the boys side the emerged as leaders and began to lead workouts in the offseason and teaching by example
. Well those athletes have now graduated, and coach Fichter is now looking towards the girls side to take up that mantle of being the leaders on the team. Fichter told KNIA/KRLS Sports that the girls have impressed and improved a lot from last year after competing in the tough Pride of Iowa Conference, and he says now the younger boys have good role models to look up to now on the opposite side.
