Pella’s Grant Judkins and Tyler Hillman were each named to the First Team of the Iowa Newspaper Association’s class 3-A all-state baseball team.
A total of 13 players from all of class 3-A were named to the First Team, with Judkins chosen as a pitcher and Hillman named as an infielder.
The duo led the Little Dutch to the Little Hawkeye Conference championship, its second consecutive trip to the state tournament, and a 31-9 record.
