Wed., August 10 – Kids’ Craft Day – 1:00-3:00 p.m. – Visitor Center
Got creative kids? Bring your young artists to en-joy make-and take nature craft activities!
Fri., August 12 – Geocaching – 7:00 p.m. – Howell Station Landing
You’re never too old for hide-and-seek: have some fun and give geocaching a try! This sport uses the technology of GPS (Global Positioning System) to hunt for caches hidden in an area. Bring your own GPS unit or borrow one from us. Learn some of the basics, then try it on your own anywhere you travel!
Sat., August 13 – Snake Lunchtime – 1:00 p.m. – Visitor Center
It’s feeding day at the visitor center! Stop by and join the center’s resident snakes as they have a bite to eat!
