Knoxville School Resource Officer Kyle Keller says attitudes about driving and street crossings need to be adjusted as school starts.
Keller says with children making their way to school on foot and on bicycles, drivers must be aware and slow down to avoid accidents. Keller says he often sees drivers rushing to drop off children and get to work. Keller says parents should educate their children about looking both ways when crossing the street, and drivers need to be observant and stop to allow those in crosswalks to cross the street.
