The Pella City Council made the necessary zoning changes to allow expansion and renovation to continue at Pella Christian Grade School.
City Administrator Mike Nardini says the council approved the zoning change to the recently purchased property, which will primarily be used for additional access and parking for the school.
A more specific site plan will be worked on this fall as fundraising goals are hit, according to Head of Schools David Te Grotenhuis. The document would have to pass the Planning and Zoning Commission whenever the district would like to proceed with the more than $13.5 million in changes.
