For the first time of the 2016 season, both the PCM Mustang and Pleasantville Trojan Cross Country Teams will run competitively in a large meet held at the Iowa State University Cross Country Course later tonight starting at 4:45pm.
The competitive field includes 24 other schools including familiar competition for both squads as both the Pride of Iowa and Heart of Iowa Conferences are both well represented, with members of the Raccoon River, Little Hawkeye, and CIML schools will also have representation. The Mustangs are expecting a lot out of Chris Ellens on the boys side and both Rachel Stafford and Jayci Vos for the girls, while the Trojans are looking for senior Brandon Gibson to take the next step forward and be the boys top runner while the top five spots are in flux for the girls. Full results for both Pleasantville and PCM Cross Country Squads will be available on KNIAKRLS.com, or listen to our Marion County News Magazines tomorrow for a full recap.
