The PCM and Pleasantville Cross Country teams got things going Thursday as both squads competed at the Iowa State Cross Country Course on the Iowa State University Campus.
For the girls the Pleasantville Trojans finished 9th in the standings behind efforts from Sophomores Jordan Dursky 35th and Taylor Clark 37th respectfully. The PCM Mustang girls came out with a strong finish finishing 2nd overall as a team with three medal winners in Sophomores Paytan Schut 12th, Kirstin Ives 13th and Senior Jayci Vos 14th. On the Boys side of things Pleasantville finished 11th in the team standings with their strongest runner finishing 25th in Junior Josh Pulse. The PCM Mustangs on the boy’s side finished 8th in the standings but had the 2nd place finisher and medal winner Chris Ellens leading the way for the Mustangs. The PCM Mustangs will next run September 3rd at Central College in Pella and the Pleasantville Trojans will be back to running September 1st at Wayne High School
