The Pella High volleyball team went 4-2 at the Bondurant-Farrar Invitational on Saturday.
The Lady Dutch swept Boone and beat both North Polk and the hosts in three games in the morning, before getting swept by Valley, losing in three to Dubuque Hempstead and sweeping Woodward Granger.
Head coach Catie Brand tell KNIA/KRLS sports that her team struggled with serve receive in the morning, but battled back well in order to make it to the gold pool in the afternoon. She says that she’s proud of how her team responded, and it was a good tournament at this point in the season.
The Lady Dutch are 5-2, and will open Little Hawkeye Conference play on Tuesday at Grinnell.
