Pella opened Little Hawkeye Conference volleyball play with an easy three set victory over Grinnell last night, 25-12, 25-18, 25-13.
Emily Holterhaus led the way offensively with 14 kills, while Katie Vander Molen added 7 and Kiki Pingel made the most of her 6 attempts with 4 kills.
Pingel dished out 27 assists, Vander Molen had 12 digs and Jenna Murphy added 10, while Holterhaus smothered 3 blocks.
The Lady Dutch are now 6-2 on the season and will have a week off to get ready for their showdown next Tuesday at home against cross-town rival Pella Christian.
