No. 2 in 1A Pella Christian aims to dig their heels in deep tonight against the ground-and-pound Blue Demons of Class 2A Albia in non-district action.
Coach Jerry Staton–the only other man to lead Pella Christian football, will favor a power running attack that pushed the Blue Demons to the UNI Dome each of the last three seasons.
Eagles Head Coach Rich Kacmarynski says one of the biggest reasons Pella Christian kept Albia on their schedule after the district realignment was so they could see how far they’ve come with one of their biggest weaknesses–defending the run.
