The Central College soccer teams each picked up a victory yesterday at the Kuyper Athletic Complex.
The men scored three goals in the first 20-minutes and ambushed Augustana 7-1. Miguel Pina and Ian Meentemeyer each tallied a hat trick as the Dutch improve to 2-1 on the year.
The women were scoreless against Grinnell before breaking through in the 59th minute with an own goal. Lauryn Kramer added insurance three minutes later as the Dutch earned a 2-0 victory for their first win of the season. They’re now 1-1-1.
Both Dutch squads are in action this weekend in Minnesota – with doubleheaders at Crown on Saturday and at Bethany Lutheran on Sunday.
