The Pella City Council has approved the first of three readings for an ordinance approving a zoning change for Pella Regional Health Center.
City Finance Director Corey Goodenow says Pella Regional is expanding on their property, which is the reason behind the application. They tentatively plan to covert the land on Monroe and Birch into a parking lot. The zoning change fits the city’s comprehensive plan, Goodenow adds. A second reading will be held on September 20th.
