Nine fall sports teams from Central College are in action this weekend.
The volleyball team hits the hardwood tonight with matches against Saint Mary’s and Hamline at the St. Kate’s Invitational in St. Paul, Minnesota. They’ll finish out the weekend with a pair of matches tomorrow.
Men’s golf opens the fall season with a two-day tournament today and tomorrow – the Carthage Tim Kopka Memorial Tournament in Dundee, Illinois.
The women’s tennis team has its first Iowa Conference matches of the season this weekend – in Waverly this afternoon against Wartburg and tomorrow at home against defending league champion Coe.
Also tomorrow – football is back on the road in Rock Island, Illinois against Augustana and both men’s and women’s cross-country run at Grinnell.
Three programs have Saturday – Sunday action. Women’s golf is at the two-day Wartburg Invitational and both women’s and men’s soccer play at Crown tomorrow and Bethany Lutheran on Sunday in Minnesota.
