If the Pella Little Dutch want to go for a three-peat, they’ll have to accomplish their first big goal of clinching a playoff spot, and their chances begin tonight as district play kicks off around the state.
They travel to Bondurant-Farrar to take on the 1-1 Bluejays. Head Coach Jay McKinstrey says the learning 2-0 Dutch will have to deal with multiple looks from the Bondurant offense.
Pella will be looking to key on Bluejay Junior Matthew Yeager, who has accounted for 363 total yards and four scores as a wingback in the first two weeks.
Our broadcast of Pella’s district opener will begin with Andrew Schneider and Randy Sikkema on 92.1 KRLS with pregame at 7 and kickoff at 7:30.
