Fighting an uphill battle, the Knoxville Football Squad did only what any heavy underdog would do, battle and compete until the end. While the score of Norwalk 37; Knoxville six would tell you different, the Panthers actually did not back down. Coach Eric Kellar told KNIA/KRLS while disappointed with the loss, he was very proud of how his team hung in. The Panthers’ only score was a 64 yard touchdown pass from Jacob Zuck to Trent Davis 2:30 remaining in the first half. Zuck was 6/14 for 97 yards a touchdown and an interception, while Davis caught two passes for 83 yards and a touchdown. Knoxville is now 1-2 and 0-2 in the district. Knoxville travels to Nevada next Friday.
