The Knoxville Fire Department, Knoxville Township Rural Fire, and Knoxville Police Department will remember fallen first responders on 9/11 by hanging flags on city hall and fire stations which commemorate those who lost their lives on duty protecting others.
The Knoxville City Police and Fire Departments will have a breakfast the morning of 9/11 and observe a moment of silence viewing the flags at 9:11 a.m. This is the 15th anniversary of 9/11.
