Competing in the 14-team Wartburg Fall Invitational, the Central College Women’s golf team finished in 9th place.
The two-day event was played Saturday and Sunday at Prairie Links Golf Course in Waverly, which will be the home of the first two rounds of the Iowa Conference Championships later this fall.
Central shot a 335 in the opening round and a 326 in the second round, and was led by freshman Emily Opsal’s 164 total. She shot rounds of 83 and 81.
