Two area cross country squads met in a meet in Pleasantville last night, with the visiting PCM Mustangs finishing 1st on the girls side and 2nd on the boys, while the host Trojans would finish 3rd and 9th respectively.
The Mustang girls boasted a quartet of runners finishing in the top 10, Klaire Jungling, Kirstin Ives, Payton Schut and Rachel Stafford would finish 3rd, 4th, 5th and 9th respectively, while on the boys side Chris Ellens would pace the field and finish in first while Jason Stafford finished 9th. For the Trojans, Taylor Clark and Taylor Johnson continued to impress finishing 14th and 19th for the girls, while Josh Pulse led the Trojan boys with a 7th place finish. Both teams will run next on Thursday at Lynnville-Sully.
