The Knoxville School Board met in regular session Monday.
The board examined 2015-16 financials and convened an organizational meeting of the Board of Education. Business Manager Craig Mobley presented the financial reports to the board and told them although he has some concerns about funding, the district is taking steps towards a more secure financial position. Andrew Schmidt was elected to serve as the 2016 School Board President. Larissa Van Donselaar will serve as Vice President.
