One of the fastest growing late model events in the nation starts tonight. The 13th Annual Lucas Oil Late Nationals get going at the Knoxville Raceway with around 50 of the top late model racing this weekend. The format is similar to the Knoxville Nationals in August where all drivers will time trial, run heat races and features. The top point scorer from tonight and Friday night’s racing will start on the pole for Saturday’s 100 lap championship race. Action tonight and Friday gets underway with hot laps at 6:45.
