A local food-buying club is looking for more participants.
Treva Reimer with the Good Stuff Buying Club says the group purchases organic food and eco-friendly supplies in bulk from United Natural Foods, Inc., which supplies stores such as Whole Foods. Reimer says the process is monthly, and can generate a great deal of cost savings to those involved.
“Most of the time the pricing is less expensive than the prices in the grocery store,” she says. “The more members we have, the better our pricing gets.”
There is a $10 lifetime membership fee. The next ordering deadline is September 28th, with pickup at Second Reformed Church the following Wednesday.
