With both Buena Vista and Simpson looking for their first Iowa Conference win in week two of play, the Storm would score the first 17 points off of a touchdown run by Braden Meints and a touchdown reception by Jackson Redmond to dominate the first half. The Beavers would begin to mount their comeback at the first half buzzer…kicking a 53 yard field goal to make it 17-to-three. In the second half…the Storm offense would sputter and fail to score…but the defense would use a bend-not-break approach and only allow two more field goals. A strong defensive stand with the Beavers inside the red zone by the Storm would seal the game for the Storm who now move to two-and-two on the season and one-and-one in Iowa Conference play.
