The City of Pella presented a large check to the Pella Community School District during their latest meeting as part of conservation efforts in the community.

Electric department staff handed of a rebate check of over $12,000 to Superintendent Greg Ebeling at the latest Pella School Board meeting. This rebate was for energy efficiency efforts made at the newly constructed Lincoln Elementary School. City of Pella electric customers may be eligible for a variety of energy efficiency programs for residential and commercial users, which are administered under Bright Energy Solutions.
