The Knoxville School Board met in regular session Monday Night.

The board reviewed the Iowa Association of School Boards Fall Convention, which allows school boards across the state to coordinate and advocate as a group. The board also discussed the possibility of allowing trips to Costa Rica for Spanish Classes and heard a report on a viewing of the documentary “Paper Tigers.” Superintendent Cassi Pearson says the film gives a unique perspective on the lives of at-risk youth. Pearson hopes to emulate some of the strategies mentioned in the film in Knoxville Schools.
