The PCM Mustangs competed Monday at the Heart of Iowa Conference Championships.

The 11th ranked runner in Class 2A PCM Senior Chris Ellens would look for a strong finish as he attempted to finish below 17:00 and take home a Conference Championship. The PCM Senior would go on to get his Conference Championship with a time of 16:40 checking off two goals at the same time on Monday. Behind Ellens Championship performance the PCM boys would go on to finish 8th with Freshmen Jason Stafford the next highest Mustang finisher at 58th. On the girls side of things, the Sophomore three headed monster of Payton Schut 15th , Megan Townley 23rd and Kirstin Ives 24th would power the Mustangs to a 4th placed finish as a team. The PCM Mustangs will continue to try to improve on their 2016 season and prepare for before their district meet on October 20th.
