Pella Regional Health Center is hosting the first of two broadcasts today for the annual KNIA/KRLS Breast Cancer Awareness Radiothon.

Dr. Bob Leonard will talk with medical professionals, breast cancer survivors, and their families from 4 to 7 p.m. on KNIA/KRLS. Marilou Ozinga says finding and treating the disease is a team effort, and many of those involved will be featured on the air. KNIA/KRLS, Pella Regional Health Center, Knoxville Hospital and Clinics, and Marion County Public Health partner together each October for breast cancer awareness month and the KNIA/KRLS Save-a-Life Radiothon.
