Despite warmer than average weather for the majority of the fall, the leaves are starting to show their autumn colors.

The latest Iowa DNR report shows this week to be the peak viewing season for most of the state. Trees may hold their leaves longer if the weather remains warm and dry, with forecasted overnight lows staying well above frost levels and little precipitation coming through the end of the week.
