New Director of VA of Iowa Central Iowa Health Gail Graham tells KNIA/KRLS News she has strong Iowa roots.

Graham had worked in Washington, D.C. with the VA for 17 years before being named to this position in Des Moines, which she calls her dream job, but grew up in Des Moines and remembers visiting Knoxville for races as a child. She is emphasizing veteran’s feedback on service in order to improve overall experience. Graham is also optimistic about applications of telehealth systems like the one being installed at Knoxville’s Community Based Outpatient Clinic, opening early next year.
