The Knoxville Athletic Hall of Fame will grow by four names in January. The Hall of Fame committee has announced that Gene Bane, Molly Darnell-Minana, Kent Chrisman, and Greg Stults are this year’s inductees. Bane, from the class of 1942, was a standout in three sports for the Panthers highlighted by his state runner-up in the 100 and 220 yard events. Minana was a part of the 1964 girls golf state championship and was an individual runner-up in 1965. Chrisman earned class 3A football all-state in 1986. Stults lead the Panther cross country program form 1978-2001 winning a state championship and leading Knoxville to 13 state meet appearances. The induction ceremonies will be Friday January 20th.
