A Knoxville man has been arrested for burglary following an incident at the Woodlawn Apartments.

Just before midnight on Sunday, Knoxville Police officers were called to a report of a man threatening a woman with a knife. Officers located and arrested Dustin Conrad. The woman told officers Conrad entered her apartment and she told him to leave or she would call the police. Conrad grabbed a knife and began swearing and screaming at her, threatening to break her phone. Conrad eventually put the knife down, but then smashed a glass ashtray on an end table before leaving and being apprehended by officers. Conrad is charged with assault, criminal mischief and 1st degree burglary, a class B felony.
