A Marion County brother and sister wanted on outstanding warrants were arrested Monday night.

Robert John Visser and Brandy Delaine Kline were located at a residence on Highway T-15 east of Knoxville. When law enforcement tried to serve the warrants, Kline and Visser barricaded themselves in. After three hours the Iowa State Patrol Tactical Team entered and both subjects were taken into custody. Kline was found unresponsive upon entry into the room and was transported to the Knoxville Hospital and Clinics Emergency room by Knoxville Fire and Rescue for medical treatment. She was later transported in stable condition to Mercy in Des Moines. Visser was booked into the Marion County Jail on interference with official acts, possession of drug paraphernalia and controlled substances and three previous outstanding warrants for failure to appear. Kline is facing charges of possession of controlled substances, unlawful possession of prescription drugs, interference with official acts, and three outstanding warrants for failure to appear. Charges are pending for others who were present at the residence for interfering with the investigation. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol, Knoxville Fire and Rescue, Pleasantville PD and the Mid-Iowa Narcotics Task Force.
