The Melcher-Dallas Public Library is moving into its newly completed building today.

For the past three years, the library and the Friends of the Melcher-Dallas Public Library have been raising money through grants, donations and fundraisers. The moving effort will see the whole community pitch in, including Melcher-Dallas High School students. Librarian Lori Davis tells KNIA/KRLS News they welcome any help relocating. The move may be rescheduled if the weather is poor, so that books can be protected.
