The Pella City Council accepted work completed on the Washington Street reconstruction project at their meeting this week.

A final contract at just over $900,000 was approved. The council also expanded an agreement with Central Iowa Water Association for sewer line hook-ins for neighborhoods on T-15. At policy and planning, the council received potential budget information from the Pella Public Library for facility and technology improvements, and from City Hall about interdepartmental internet connectivity and employee compensation.
