A Lovilla man was arrested while driving on the Bussey stub Thursday night for multiple drug offences.
Michael Eugene Peterson was pulled over by a Marion County Sheriff’s Deputy near the 2200 block of G71 for expired registration and because the deputy was aware that the owner of the vehicle had a suspended driver’s license. The deputy discovered a scale, seven grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, and $860 dollars in cash in the vehicle. Peterson was arrested and charged with failure to affix a drug stamp, possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to distribute, a class B felony.
