The City of Pella has started planning for the next fiscal year budget.

At this week’s Policy and Planning meeting following regular city council business, the Pella Library and City Hall presented about priorities heading into the next budget process. City Administrator Mike Nardini says this represents an effort to keep each city department proactive in addressing various issues throughout the community.

Nardini says the library presentation was focused on upgrading the current facility as it approaches 20 years old and technological upgrades. He adds that city hall is looking at internet connectivity both internally and eventually for the entire community. Hear more from this week’s city council meeting on Let’s Talk Pella.
