Unfortunately for Pella Christian fans, the Eagles fell one game shy of taking part in this week’s state volleyball festivities.
If they’re to make it next year, Bekah Horstman will likely be a huge factor.
The junior was third in the Little Hawkeye Conference in both kills and hitting efficiency, 384 kills and a .348 percentage. She finished ninth in blocking with .72 per set.
The Eagles finished 25-13 this season and lose a ton of senior talent, so Horstman will certainly be a building block for the 2017 season.
