
A Bussey man has been arrested after reporting the theft of firearms.
A Marion County Sheriff’s deputy responded to the report of thefts at homes on Story Street in Bussey and in Lovilia. The deputy knew that the man who reported the theft, Tony James Marlin, was a convicted felon and confirmed with dispatch. Marlin and another person at the residence confirmed that he owned a shotgun and a handgun, which he was reporting stolen. Marlin was arrested and charged with felon in possession of a weapon, a class D Felony.
