Eleven Central College soccer players and a coach were recognized as the Iowa Conference handed out its postseason awards earlier this week.

Women’s sophomore midfielder Olivia Denham and freshman forward Erin Manion were recognized as first team all Iowa Conference.

Midfielders Lauryn Kramer and Kayla Sunvold were second-team picks, along with defender Kelsey Roxworthy, while goalkeeper Sydney Lunardi and forward Kallie Holte were cited as honorable mention.

Men’s sophomore forward Miguel Pina was named to the second team, while coach Garry Laidlaw was named the league’s Coach of the Year.

The conference also recognized goalkeeper Josh Carpenter, midfielder Zach Butters and defender Kiel Pederson as honorable mention selections.
