Veteran’s Day was celebrated yesterday. Flags were erected at Graceland Cemetery by the American Legion, VFW, Boy and Girl Scouts and community volunteers and along Highway 14 by the Knoxville Lions Club.

The annual Hy-Vee Veteran’s Day breakfasts served nearly 1000 veterans and their families. Knoxville Hy-Vee Store Director Brett Shelman told KNIA/KRLS News Hy-Vee Breakfasts across the midwest expected to serve 90,000 total veterans.
