ORIGINAL STORY:

The westbound lane of Highway 163 was closed between Mile Marker 42 and Exit 40 for a serious car crash.

Multiple emergency crews responded to a call at approximately 5:40 p.m. to a rollover accident with injuries. Pella Rural Fire, Pella Ambulance, Pella Police, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, the Iowa State Patrol and Mercy Helicopter have all responded. Tune into KNIA/KRLS for live updates.
