The Twin Cedars Girls Basketball Squad is hoping to better last season’s record. The Sabers won just one game. Second year Coach Mark Bacus says things are moving a little better this year since he does not have to re-teach his style. He adds infusing confidence in the girls is something that he and other coaches at Twin Cedars have been trying during the offseason. Bacus uses this past season’s football team as an example. He says more than likely the success on the football field will translate to success on the basketball court. He along with the other girls coaches are trying to get the same results for the girls’ sports. The Sabers open up Monday at home against Southeast Warren.
